Yesterday was a boring day at work. I did my markets (twice in one case, since there was one from Saturday that needed to be done, and then they sent the Monday one, too). The one was late coming in, so that gave me something to do in the afternoon. In addition, I was helping the newbies in learning the inbox. Still, boring. No word on the schedule change yet.
I finished the list of things that Boston does that drive me crazy, but have not gotten any feedback for it yet. My manager is slipping. I was tempted to make it a PowerPoint, but restrained myself to a Word document. Hopefully, it is okay. I did my best to make it professional and non-confrontational. I started with issues and then moved to potential solutions. And really, retrain your drivers already.
Not much else going on. We listened to our podcasts, and by listened, I mean that I fell asleep during them. I swear, Rusty Quill Gaming especially, I rarely get past "Alex here." There's just something about Alex Newall's voice that is soporific for me. We usually listen to it early on the nights we have Dad, so then I actually can stay awake. But listen to it before bed, and I am instantly out. I'll probably relisten to the episode, as it sounded interesting. We've been heavy on the roleplaying the last dozen or so chapters, which is cool.
As of right now, we listen to three actual play podcasts: Rusty Quill Gaming, the Adventure Zone, and Jess has recently gotten me started listening to Critical Role. We've tried a few others, but they didn't stick, so far. Either they were too "dudebro" or their audio was not great. We held off listening to the Adventure Zone live shows for a long time because sometimes crowd sound can drive me crazy. Fortunately, they have good mics, so it wasn't too bad.
