Body is back to being a dick today. Which is fine, since it's back to work day. I was up at 5:30am, though I was able to stay in bed til 7. I still slept well, and am presumably ready for whatever the day holds. I don't know if anyone did my markets yesterday, so I'll probably have that. Which is fine, since it'll give me something to do this morning.
Yesterday was a day of rest, except around noon when we went to get pizzas from Pizza Johns which is a local institution. They have the best pepperoni in town. We ended up having pizza for lunch and dinner, since none of us felt particularly industrious.
I also worked out the next MotW game. I think we're going to go classic this time. A nice change from having to murder a preacher. I think it'll be fun, it'll give my chaos goblins all things to do, and I think it'll be fun. It's not for two weeks yet, but I like to have my shit locked ahead of time, especially since D&D comes up first.
With D&D, I have the benefit of a pre-made game. And MotW, I am using the book as a jumping off point, though the mysteries never quite go the way I expected. For instance, in the book, the preacher is not pulling up the entities on purpose, but as an accidental side effect of his shitty hate-filled sermons. I decided on the fly that with my players, that wouldn't necessarily work. Gray areas are all well and good, but the stained glass demon being the big bad just didn't seem like a good thing for them. So, the preacher went full evil. It was pretty much the second half of the mystery that got remade as the game went on. The dice were kind, and got my players where they needed to be, and all was right with the world.
