D&D night tonight! I am very excited, and slightly nervous to see where my murder muppets go next. There's a couple of places that I would like them to be third level to try, so of course, they're likely to take their level two asses there. We shall see. God only knows what they'll pick up along the way this time.
Work was not particularly exciting yesterday. No word yet on whether my manager was able to get me the early schedule. The meeting was a cacophony of whining. I mostly ignored it and just did my market report, since I had my microphone muted and they couldn't' hear my typing. Near the end, I chimed in a little, because apparently the new hires got laptops, and this was met with much outrage. It seems like the earlier you got sent home, the dumpier equipment you got. I have an old monitor and a wired headset. (I don't mind my headset-I'm not planning to go anywhere.) Later,I did get a nice monitor for my second screen, so that was good. From what I understand, the wireless headsets aren't that great, so I'll stick with my set up. I don't want a tiny screen laptop. I have my monitors close to me as it is, and I'm not big on the thought of working on my couch.
Did I mention that I'm excited for D&D tonight? And Monster of the Week tomorrow? It'll be nice to play with friends two days in a row. I also expect to sleep like the dead afterwards-I always am tired after a game. Hopefully this time my monsters do more than slap fight the large wolverine mount of my barbarian. (That's not true, it also managed a whole three points of damage on the barbarian herself.) Then, it ended up being a coat for my paladin, with enough left for a blanket. The other monsters ended up being eaten by party members and their polar bears. (Thus why they're murder muppets.)
