Back to work today. We got overtime this week, so I'll be 8am-6:30pm every day. It's going to be a long week. But we need to get some shit done that is not getting done otherwise, because we're down 4 people (all of whom got new, higher positions in the company). I'll probably be fighting with some extra markets, in addition to continuing to learn delivery updates. (I mean the extra markets aren't a huge deal, because I usually have plenty of spare time. They just haven't been worked in over a week (or more) and are a bit of a mess. I did Philadelphia on Wednesday night, and it was a mess. The stores aren't doing their jobs, so there were orders from September on there. (Two weeks is supposed to be the limit). I have no idea what the person who was working that market was doing, butt hey weren't doing their actual job.
I put out an offer to do a zero game session on the 26th to help everyone get their characters made and entered into Roll20. We'll see if there's any takers. Ideally, if I can get most of the people settled, we can start the game on 1/1, and actually get some game in.
My chaos gremlins were awesome as always last night for MotW. They beat the Minotaur, and saved his teenage victims. And they didn't even kill the Minotaur's human accomplice, which is both sad and great. Great, because they found a way around it. Sad, because I totally could have had the sheriff up their ass for it. Ah well. I think I know what the next mystery is going to be, and possibly the one after that. Yay for plot hooks. Plus, there's still the whole mob ties to explore. Hmmm. I'll have to think about that.
Dad's present is still hung up in California. Whoohoo. I swear to fuck. This one was sent priority, even. I don't blame the post office workers, I know they're doing what they can, but it is really, really frustrating, especially since I ordered pretty early.
