Last night, the body decided to do something new and exciting. I couldn't get to sleep until after 1am. It at least let me sleep a little longer than 4, though, so that's something. Around 11, I had a total meltdown due to sleep paranoia. It was fun. I always love crying so much. /sarcasm.
Work was work. I did a coworker's market, which is fucked up. It took me four and a half hours to do that report. I think they dredged every delivery in the last six months out just to piss me off. I got so frustrated with it that I had to take breaks, which of course made it last longer. It was like having fingernails pulled out. I plan to talk to my manager about the store side of the report, because when they cancel orders, they're not sending a message to the transport company, so it never gets cancelled, and I have 100+ orders that need to be cancelled. Ugh.
We had an excellent dinner from the 7 West Bistro. Pricey, but SO good. I had chicken Chesapeake, which is a grilled chicken breast with crab imperial. The crab imperial was over the whole of the breast, and at least an inch high all around.
I've been reading and re-reading the Monster of the Week game materials, so I'm familiar with everything by the time Saturday rolls around. I will be prepared, and I will have a pad of paper and a pen.
We bought Jess a new gaming headset, so she'll be ready too. That was really my excitement for yesterday. That, and going to work to pick up a 2nd monitor. It's huge, and barely fits on the desk, but it's nice to have a separate place for some of my systems.
Today, I took off early, since Dad has a zoom doctors appointment. Then, I'll spend my evening hours grilling a shit ton of food. Hope I got enough charcoal. I was just going to do the sausage, but apparently, I'm also doing chicken tenders, hamburgers and hotdogs. This is in addition to 3 lbs of apple sausage, 1lb of Old Bay sausage, and 1/2lb of sweet Italian sausage. We're going to have food for days.
Shelly is off this week, and we're getting a dumpster to clean out the basement. It's been a wreck since the flooding, and we need the gas people to come in and change the meter, so they'll turn our goddamn gas back on. (long story, but because we had a flood, and they couldn't change the meter, they cut our gas. We survived the winter with space heaters, and we've been cooking in the crock pot. It's been pretty shitty, but we're finally dealing with it.) Of course, the week that we're planning to do this, Shelly has a pulled muscle in her hip, and Jess is having foot pain, so it should be fun. I'm working most of the week, plus with my asthma being triggered by dust, I'm not much help. I have a little anxiety that someone's going to hurt themselves more, so that's fun.
Okay, time to get ready for work. At least it's a short day.
