And by labor, I mean sit around and get time and a half for it. I love holidays. I also happily work Christmas Eve and New Years Day for the same reason. Being retail, we're only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. New Years Day is especially easy, since I don't stay up to see midnight.

It's official, on Saturday, I'll be running my first tabletop RPG game, Monster of the Week. There was a lot of interest--more than I expected. I am nervous and excited all at once. Hopefully, everyone has a good time. That's what I'm mainly there for, to facilitate the good time. *hands* Jess and [personal profile] poisontaster are both playing, which is comforting, and nerve wracking. At least that'll be two people whose voices I can recognize. It's been over two decades since I GMed, and that was for a small group of friends. I'm looking forward to getting back into it.

Today, we shall cook out, and do all the sausage that I bought on Friday. I was going to do it Saturday, but we decided to get carryout. Of course, the carryout place totally forgot Jess and my entrees, so that was a bit of a bust, but fortunately, they remembered my bread pudding, so I ate that and some breaded mushrooms for dinner. They also remembered Jess' appetizer, spicy vegetable samosas, so she had something, too. I am looking forward to the sausage. I love the apple sausage, and it's amazing on the grill. They're large links, a little bit bigger than a hotdog, so they work well. I'm making myself hungry. I might need breakfast.
