It seems that my impatience in waiting for the shiny has now transferred to work, and waiting for them to call me for an interview. I know the temps start on Monday, so figuring on two weeks of training, they need to have a manager in place by around the 27th. Since the new manager is going to need training, too, they better get a move on. I know the posting closes tomorrow, so maybe they'll call on Monday. I'm really hoping they call today, because that'll let me know what my schedule is going to be like this weekend.
I've been working in leggings and a tank top for the last few months, and before that, jeans and a tshirt. I don't really have interview clothes, so if I'm going to have an in person interview, I'm going to need to make a stop at either Torrid or Lane Bryant. I was thinking about Catherine's since it's closer to our house, and not in a mall, but when I looked, all the stuff they had that I'd wear read older. I don't want to feel older. I'm plenty old enough on my own. I want something that will make me feel good and confident. I could also massively use a haircut.
If I get the job, I'll need to put in an order for more masks from Zazzle (they're so comfortable, y'all). I'll need at least 6, since I want one for each day. Plus more clothes. I was getting to the point that I needed to buy more jeans right before we went to work from home, at which point I practically bought stock in Old Navy's capri leggings. So, I'm going to need some new jeans, and maybe some nicer tops.
*sigh* So much to get done, but I have to wait until I know more.
