So, the other day, I went ahead and took a chance on a guy on ebay who was selling the little ipod shufffles on ebay for thirty bucks. The catch was that they don't work, but are still under the Apple Care warranty. I still had a little cash left over from taxes, and honestly, I needed something for the gym. I'm happy to report that I'm now the owner of a brand new ipod shuffle, which works beautifully, and I've bought a second one for Jess. If you're poor like me, and just need something to put a few songs on, I highly recommend intldirect.
Now, I'm listening to the music that I've loaded it with, and I must say, I'm rather pleased with the sound. I'm looking forward to trying it out at the gym. The title of the post is actually from the Dar Williams song playing now-"After All".
Yesterday was pretty low-key, which was a nice switch. Had a kick-ass sushi buffet lunch, tasty, if average dinner, and got some errands done, which was good. Also found that Target had my favorite kind of undies on sale, so I picked up 9 pairs. My life is so exciting. *grin* Also got my hair cut, will post a picture eventually. Not so sure about the length. I like the back, but the front is a little bit of an odd length. Like midway between the cheekbone and the jaw. It just kind of hangs there. We'll see in a couple of days how it does, though.
Sammy's been doing fairly well, so I'm almost feeling human again. I think if it snows here on Saturday, I'll put him on harness and take him for a stroll in it. Let him see how lucky he is. Let him sink up to his little kitty nuts in snow and then he might appreciate a warm bed with lots of scritchy fingers. He might as well enjoy those balls while he's got them. He goes in on Wednesday for his neutering, the lucky devil. *grin*
