I looked at the new promo pics for Supernatural Season 2, and my first thought was "Oh look, Dean found another coat that looks like John's. First, the leather that was almost an exact duplicate of the one John wears in "Something Wicked," now a longer coat that looks an awful like the one John was wearing in "Shadow."

It makes me go "awww!"

Also, I may have bought a crappy softcore porno dvd off ebay which has Chinese subtitles, because it was one of JDM's early movies. Should he get nekkid, I will duly cap it, because I'm giving like that. *grin* Then, I will tape it and ship a copy to robanybody, for she will not be at Winchestercon, while I and the DVD will be.

Also, GIP, really.

You've really brought the JDM love to me, and the John love as well. I can tell, watching the reruns, my whole reaction to flashbacks of John and his dealings with little Dean and Sam has softened radically from "definite neglect and borderline abuse" to "aww, poor guy, he's doing the best he can". (aside: I still think he makes some wrong choices, but I'm no longer yelling at the screen that somebody should call Family Services.)

So, um, anyway. Nekkid JDM. Caps. Whee!!! You are so good to us.

I want to go to Winchestercon. There's no way it'll happen, but I wanna. So many people I wanna meet. So much squee I wanna share in. *sigh*

*laugh* I think part of it is that John reminds me of my mother in a lot of ways. Stern, and sometimes tough, but she loves us. (Mind you, she was agoraphobic, so we didn't get left alone much. *grin*) But yeah. Actually, I think that's what I like about the Winchester dynamic. Everyone views it through the lens of their own values.

On the other hand, JDM is just the sex, especially in the Emmy pics. *grin*

Awww! That kinda sucks. I'd have liked to meet you. Well, since your'e in Chicago, maybe we'll catch up with you next time we're up there on vacation (which we're hoping to do sooner than later!)
