Do I really have to be awake to stab small children? Hopefully not.

Had a lovely weekend that included sexing up my wife at every opportunity, tasty, tasty sushi and miso soup, shopping at IKEA, and was topped off by the return of our local indy wrestling league.

Got there as the doors opened, and found a line that stretched about 120 yards down the front of the building, into the parking lot. Gaped for a few minutes, then got in line to freeze our asses off. Had a couple of complete redneck asses in line in front of us, and I kind of winced, thinking that it was going to be like the last time we had to go to the flea market for wrestling. But there were nice people behind us, who we chatted with, and that was good. We finally got in, and got to our seats in row 3, with our backs to the wrestler's entrance. Were very good seats.

The first match was for the Cruiserweight title, with two guys I don't know, one of our boys, and some guy named Rukus. Kickass match, with some really outstanding high spots.

Next up, came the first of the boys I've missed. Genesis, who started training at age 16 and who used to be one of our security guys back then. He's such a sweetie. The curtain opened, and I thought, hey, who's the hottie coming out in front of Genesis...oh, shit. That is Genesis. Bad touch, bad touch! Oh, my God. Hot. I'ma going to hell, but you could bounce a quarter off that ass.

Then, the tag team four way dance. Two guys I didn't know, the Ghetto Mafia (who are such sweethearts!), the Slackers, Chad and Dino (such great guys--missed them!) and The Holy Rollers, Earl and Rich. I think, of all my boys, I may have missed Earl and Rich the most. They had a fun match, which ended in the Slackers winning the tag titles. Of course, the Rollers commenced a beatdown. And lo, who should come out for the save, but two of my favorite non-MCW boys...Brian (Jesse) James, and Billy Gunn.

A match was quickly set up for a three way main event, with the Outlaws vs. the Rollers, vs the Slackers.

After intermission, came Julio Dinero, who I've missed mightily. (Love the Julio.) He looked good, and yet again, had shaved his stomach hair into a 6-pack. *snort* He won, I cheered, go Julio.

Then, Danny Doring vs Crowbar, Doring wins. Damn, he has a big mouth.

Then, Samoa Joe vs. Roderick Strong. Daaaam. Utterly vicious looking match. Joe won with a truly sick-looking move.

Last, the Outlaws/Rollers/Slacker's match. The Roller's manager announced that he had a special guest ref, who's known worldwide for his rep for fairness. Yup. Earl Hebner. The chants of "you screwed Bret" were just deafening. The Outlaws helped lead the chant, actually. Wow, they look fantastic. Jesse seems like he's completely clean and sober, and Billy looks good, too. Best of all, they seem to be having fun, which translates to the audience having fun. I think Jess fell a little in love with them all over again. I know I did. They took the win to become our MCW tag team champs. Yay! We get to see them again!

I had so much fun! I can't wait to do it again in 1 month! Then, our main event is AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels. (I'd love to know who Danny sold his soul to for the guest talent, cause daaaam. If this is what the more expensive ticket prices get, I'm all for it!
