It's always lovely when your ISP has the major cable to it's main MD server cut. Fuckers. I've been mostly offline for the last three days, except for occasional forays to Towson to use their ethernet.

It was actually a good thing, as frankly, after the election, I was not in a good place to be online. I tend to start flame wars when I'm unhappy. I was really fucking unhappy. Still am, though the despair has eased off. I'm disappointed in humanity, and some friends, who I otherwise thought were good people.

For the record, I don't think that this is heading into an Orwellian situation, nor am I invoking Godwin's law. I do, however, think that in four years, we'll look back, and see that our civil rights have suffered, the environment has suffered, and that our safety will have decreased. Frankly, if you disagree, I don't care. Nor do I want to hear it in my journal. Bitch on your journal all you like, but here, STFU, kthnxbie.

Also, I got quite a bit of writing done, since I had nothing better to do. Astoundingly, I finished a story, and it's not a story that has to wait for 1000 other parts to be posted! Go me. (So, yeah. Not Rag.)

Aside from that, things have been pretty quiet. Watched the beginning of season 3 of alias on DVD on Wed, that was nice. Even if Season 3 was a sucking pit, it was still better than 90% of what's on television. And I love me some Jennifer Garner. Can't wait til Elektra comes out!

Last night, we went to see "The Incredibles." I haven't laughed that hard in a while. It's a great movie, with amazing characters, and I loved it. I highly recommend that all the geeks on my f-list go forth and see. Now.
