beansideI just wanted to put up a note to let everyone know that Grandmom's surgery went very well, and that she's currently resting and being treated like a queen in Intermediate care. Mom and Shelly should be allowed to go see her soon, and I'll be visiting after work.
Many thanks to all of you for your well wishes, kind words, prayers, energy, spells, or whatever. It's really, really appreciated. I will now proceed to deflate like a big balloon, and relax for the first time in a week.
Tomorrow, I shall get off work early, pick up Jess, visit Grandmom for a bit, then go out and have a nummy birthday dinner for my baby.
*sigh* Need...nap...now....
