beansideIt's Tuesday! I woke up at 4 and could not get back to sleep. In just 2 hours, I can pick up the keys to our apartment. I'm nervous.
I've got a list of stuff to take with me today. It keeps growing, just like the stacks of boxes in our living room do.
I'm doing my best to be organized, but it's not easy. There's a lot of moving pieces, and I'm not sure I'm up to it.
The plan is to get to the rental office soon after 8am, and pick up the keys. I know I need to ask for the key fob for the gym and our mailbox key. Once we're done, we'll start unpacking all the stuff from the storage unit. Jess will probably head home, and I'll start unpacking and assembling. Somewhere between 10-4 the couch and loveseat will arrive, and Verizon will arrive between 12-3pm.
I'm hoping that stuff will arrive early so that I don't have to sit over there all day, but I am packing assuming that nothing is coming until 4pm.

Tomorrow, we'll schlep more stuff over to the apartment, and possibly take the dog over to see it. At some point, I really need to pack my office. I'm still debating on whether to take the printer. It's big and unwieldy, and I don't have a box for it, so we'd end up taking it, and I have no idea where we'd put it, but on the other hand, it's a good printer. A little finicky, but I've figured out how to make it behave mostly. And it's damned handy to have. But on the other, would a little HP printer be a better option? I really have no clue.
Okay, I suppose it's time for me to consider getting pants on. Everyone have an excellent New Year's Eve!

Date: 2024-12-31 12:40 pm (UTC)I'd say take it, if you can get the printer moved. it's paid for, it's seemingly been reliable, and saving a little by not replacing it makes sense to me. you can save the cash, or buy dinner some time
