beansideWe've made it to Friday! I'm sure it'll still be just as busy of a day, but at least I have tomorrow and Sunday off.
Jess was still hurting, so they went to the doctor yesterday and switched them to the nuclear option of antibiotics with the understanding that if this didn't work, it's probably not a UTI. They started the Cipro last night, so hopefully that'll start to kick in today.
Yesterday was pretty quiet at work. I only ended up at 40 calls, which is fairly low. I had a lot of new patients, which take longer, so I'm not shocked. It also just wasn't that busy. Next week is going to be bonkers as we get hit by everyone who waited til the last minute to schedule their yearly MRIs and are just *shocked* that we're booked til January. Don't we understand? This is an emergency! Their deductible will reset on 1/1!
This morning, I need to finish imputting stats for some monsters I'm throwing at my players tonight. Though to be fair, I'll probably still be working on that tonight, too. Freaking cool homebrew monsters with their extra features.
Tomorrow, Jess' health permitting, we're meeting up with friends for the Baltimore Christmas Village. I'm looking forward to getting to see everyone and eating my way through the festival. The racelette sandwich is a special favorite!
