beansideTest day!! As with the last one, what I've been struggling with seems to have slotted into place, so hopefully I'll do well. I don't know if I'll get 100% again, but I'll give it my best try. At the very least, I feel like I should be able to get a pretty good score.
It's a busy day today, with verious special presenters coming in and an afternoon trip to a precinct to get the tour and probably another excruciating powerpoint presentation. (I love powerpoints, but goddamn, I have been subjected to a lot of them. Usually not very well made.). After the precinct, we're back up to the office for another presenter.
Tonight, I will go to bed at normal time, and sleep for 3-4 hours before getting up so that I will be ready to go back to bed at 10am in preparation for my night shift on Friday. I'll get up around 6, and get myself ready to play Curse of Strahd. By 9:30, I'll be stopping and heading into work to be there before 11pm. I will then observe til 7am, come home, then go to my doctor's appointment. I'm going to try to stay awake at least until after dinnertime, at which point I can pass out and sleep til morning. By around 6pm, I should be a joy to be around.
We're working on the computer aided dispatch system. We've graduated into pairing up and reading each other scripts. I feel like I've got a pretty good grip on what I'm doing. Our practical isn't for a couple of weeks yet. I'm sure as time goes on, I'll get even smoother at it.
Okay, time to get myself together. I have to say, the best decision I made was to get roughly a million polo shirts and black pant. It takes almost no time to decide on wardrobe. It's lovely.
