I am happy to report that is is 67 fucking degrees in my house! They came yesterday at about 11:30, and had it fixed by 1pm. Apparently the outside intake valve was "filthy," and had overstressed the capacitor until it burned out. $751 later, we have AC again. (And that was with the warranty!)

This weekend was SO fucking hard, y'all. I was 100% sure that we were going to be calling an ambulance for someone. (When I was throwing up on Friday night, I wasn't sure it wouldn't be for me.) The temperature in the house hit 89 on Friday, and I was freaking out. I was also 100% sure that one of the animals were going to be dead by the end of it. Watching the dog panting was horrible.

But, we made it. I don't know how, but we made it. I told [personal profile] poisontaster that it feels like we weathered a hurricane or something. I'm simultaneously elated and exhausted in a way that's probably going to take a little while to resolve.

Dad's money still hasn't gone in. I am really getting upset about this. I have $40 to my name, and a car I'll probably have to put gas in soon. Dad gets paid tomorrow, so we'll have a little money then, which is good, but I could really use the extra cash. I have a couple of bills that I'm waiting to pay. (Of all the asshole places to put a speed camera, on the road that leads to the hospital is the biggest jackass place I can think of. Lucrative, but really assholish, city.)

I'm running the delivery updates today, so that's always fun. We've got a new productivity tracker for it that I'm going to have to fill out, which is annoying, but everything is about numbers, I suppose.

My manager called me yesterday, and let me know that they asked for a letter of recommendation for the job in Conshohocken. I really hope I get an interview for it. I'd honestly rather get that than team lead. One, it pays much more. Two, it sounds way more interesting. And it would have the side effect of maybe being able to score lunch or dinner with [personal profile] poisontaster now and then, which would be very much appreciated. The one drawback would be that depending on what day I had to go into the office, I might have a night I wouldn't be available for TTRPG games. But we shall see.

Now that things are not fucked here, I can start getting excited about my weekend games! Friday's Frostmaiden should be fun. The party is heading into the first of two boss battles. First, a demilich! (This is not a spoiler, they were told by the monsters at the gate that there's a demilich.). Then, I have Mad Mage on Saturday. The party is getting ready to go to the third layer, which may contain backstory! Sunday, I'm playing is [personal profile] poisontaster's Secrets of the Drow.

I'm kind of jonesing, since I had to cancel all of the games over this past weekend due to 89 degree heat in our house--I would not have been a particularly good DM in that.

Okay, I suppose it's time to consider pants again. Work is drawing ever closer and I try not to work naked. (okay, technically in a night gown.). At some point, maybe during lunch, I'm going to take a nice hot shower, and wash the accumulated sweat off. I've taken multiple cold showers, but I feel like I need a scalding hot one.

Everyone have an awesome Tuesday!!
