Some mornings are just to early to be upright. But here I am, drinking my stupid little coffee and getting ready for my stupid little job.
My stupid little job was absolutely bugfuck yesterday. I knew I was coming in to shit, but it was impressive levels of crap. We started the day out with 800 updates (normal is 300-400) and it took us til the end of the day to do them, let alone the updates that came in the rest of the day. I didn't do the 4pm pull because there was no sense in doing it. It wasn't going to get done. So, I'm starting today with probably 600 or so. Which is going to suck again. At least it's only my circus for two more days. M will be back on Sunday.
Jess' sono showed...something, but not really sure what, since it was all in medical-ese. We'll have to wait for the doctor to call us and tell us what the next step is. My assumption is that it's still going to be an MRI, since there was something the sono couldn't get a good view of. We weren't expecting it to show anything, so it's a little nervewracking. I will be very happy when Dr. Duncan calls and we can move onto the next thing.
We're at 37 days until we leave, which means that there's 7 days until the trip becomes non-refundable. This is causing me anxiety, because we're so close, and I'm afraid something is going to come and screw it up. I probably won't stop worrying until we pull out of the driveway.
The next tough thing is going to be figuring out our various games and when they'll fit into the February schedule. With us away for two full weekends, we're going to have to figure out when we can wiggle things in.
And now, I suppose I'm going to go forth and get myself together for work. Everyone have a wonderful Wednesday!
