beansideIt's Disney day! Or at least booking day. The 2023 packages went live at midnight, so it's time to officially book tickets and then reserve parks. Unfortunately, the website wasn't playing nice, so I'll be calling to talk with a live person at 7am. This is just another step in making the vacation real, so I'm excited.
Work continues to be a source of stress and annoyance, as each manager has a different story for their people. I have no faith that my manager has the correct information, so I'm in limbo, and have no idea what my job will look like, or whether I'll need to reapply or what. Supposedly, next week, I'll find out, but that's a long way away. I hate this so much. I don't want to go back on the phones. It sucked and by the end of my tenure, I was watching the clock in 15 minute increments, as in "I can get through this 15 minutes." I would much prefer to do chat if it comes to that, or social media. Unfortunately, I can't do shit about it until I know more, which is making me even more crazy. This whole thing was badly implemented and it's really shitty to make people wait so long for actual information.
In the meantime, D&D and Disney is getting me through. Thankfully, my D&D servers are pretty active, so I have something to focus on while I'm fretting. It helps, even if sometimes I want to shake it for more content to come out. Our next game is on Sunday, so I should probably start prepping for that soon, though I think mostly this is going to be back and forth fetching stuff from previous areas. And they have to put on a play for one of the hags, which should be hilarious. I will definitely keep my inhaler close by.
Okay, this one's going to be short, because there's not a whole lot on my mind except work, and that will just come out as screaming. Have a good Wednesday everyone!
