I'm free for the weekend!  Except for all the vet visits I have over the next two days, neither of which I'm looking forward to.  Had a little meltdown last night when I went down for bed from a combination of being wildly overstimulated and just dreading Yoda's appointment this morning.  He's such a strange little boy that you never know how he's going to be after a visit--especially one where he's getting his butt shaved.  He may be fine, he may be hiding and crying.  Plus, there will probably be some shaming for his weight and the state of his poopy butt.  I always feel like the worst pet parent ever.  Still, gotta do the grown up thing.  Jess offered to take him solo, but I don't think I can take them up on it.  I'd feel too guilty.

Yesterday after work, I watched The Lost City.  I thoroughly enjoyed it.  It was a fun, silly little romp written by people who obviously saw and loved Romancing the Stone.  Totally worth watching, especially if you have Amazon Prime and it's free.  I would totally have paid the normal $5.99 rental for it, though.  I really wanted to see this one in the theater, but I don't feel like I lost out by seeing it on my computer and phone. The visuals were lovely, but it wasn't like I felt like I missed anything.

So, for Disney, we were going to borrow from Dad, and pay it back, but with him still being a little grumbly about it, I decided to borrow against my 401k and pay for most of it ourselves.  I think that'll be the better option, and then we don't have the specter of his disapproval hanging over it.  When packages go on sale in June, I will be 100% ready to snatch one up.  With that in mind, I posted my countdown on Facebook yesterday and weirdly, he liked it.  Maybe he's starting to relax?  That would be nice.   The countdown is at 268, by the way.  Too far, but creeping closer.

On the other hand, Lancaster is at 7 days today.  Looking forward to it so much.  The break is much needed, for sure.  The downside is that my sister took off the whole week leading up to our break.  This will be such a fun week.  Poor Jess is going to be losing their mind, dealing with her need to show off everything on her Twitter timeline.  It also makes it a little difficult to work, as I'm used to relative quiet.  So the break will be even more needed by Thursday.

The last two days, I have been inexplicably achy.  My back is pissed again, and I'm just generally sore.  Don't know if it's a fibro flare or what, but it's pissing me off.

Okay, time to get myself together for the vet.  I hope everyone has a good Thursday!
