beanside | You're face to face with greatness, and it's strange

I didn't hate getting up as much as usual today, but I did it in a questionable mood. I was good until I came out and saw that in yet another cleaning binge of her table by the sofa, my sister plopped the bag right in front of my seat. For some reason that just pissed me off massively. It was a lightweight bag and no problem to move it by the door, but it just irked me. After the last two days, I'd say I have PMS if I still got a period. I've just been grumpy in the mornings.

Oh well, I get my two hours of peace and quiet this morning, so that should help.

After my crabby morning yesterday, we actually had a nice day. We escaped the house by going to the dispensary, then fucked around in Norstrom until the cafe opened for a delicious lunch, half of which came home. They have a lemon pesto chicken gnocchi that is absolutely wonderful. I ate until I couldn't eat any more. Then, a stop at Petsmart because our cats are pigs, then a stop at Walmart for groceries. Then we came home and took a nap.

Then, in the afternoon, my bathing suit order was ready at Torrid, so I hit the mall to pick it up. I'm not sure I'm ready to show that much skin. It's a kind of boobalicious 2 piece. The swim shorts are great, I'm just not sure I have the guts to wear the top. We'll see. It made Jess leer so it's got that going for it. It's this one.

I also bought some Disney candles, because I'm dying to know the signature scent of our hotel. Apparently, each hotel has a signature scent that gets pumped into the main lobby, to fully immerse you in the experience.

You'll notice that in there, there's no mention of my fucking meat arriving. Now it's saying it'll come today. I'm not holding my breath for it to actually come, or to be viable when it does. I have a feeling I'll be on the phone with the nice Good Chop people tomorrow to request a new shipment.

Today, my coworker J is out, so I'll be doing his markets, which should keep me busy for a couple of hours at least. It's also my inbox day, so I shouldn't be bored too much.

For now, though, I shall relax, and surf the web for a little while longer. Have another cup of coffee and contemplate my navel. I hope everyone has a good Sunday, Easter or otherwise.
