It's Monday and I need a nap. I slept great last night, but I am just tired this morning. 6am was very early. I woke up at 5:30, and was immediately ready to go back to sleep. Alas, work will be calling soon, and I must answer.

It'll be a dull day, waiting for things to come in, so I'll have to do some digging and find another few videos to watch. I've been trying to watch some Disney movies in prep for the vacation, so maybe I'll do that. I kind of stalled out watching Avatar, maybe I'll give that another go. There are a couple Avatar themed rides at Animal Kingdom that everyone raves about, and I want context.

Yesterday was mostly quiet. I did my markets, the new tech worked well, which was appreciated. A few of my team had problems, so I was really glad that I put up everything on Friday and verified that it worked. It made my life much easier. Plus, it gave the group inbox time to sync up. That took most of the day on Friday, but meant I was able to start work on time, so totally worth it.

I felt pretty okay most of the day, but as we drew closer to D&D, I started getting more dizzy. It's really strange how it's always worse later in the day. Right now, as I'm typing, I'm only a touch dizzy. Some mornings, I'm fine. But inevitably, as the afternoon takes hold, I start feeling those swoops and whirls as it feels like my brain is sloshing around. It's frequently accompanied by facial pressure and eye twitches, just to be thoroughly obnoxious.

D&D was a lot of fun as always. I'm not going to recap, because as Jess pointed out, the module, Wild Beyond the Witchlight is still very new, and I don't want to spoil anyone. Our other module, Rime of the Frostmaiden has been out a couple of years, so I'll recap that one. And of course, Monster of the Week and Masks comes strictly out of my happy little brain, so I can recap away.

We've tentatively planned the next handful of games, and they're so far out! Unfortunately, people have real lives, unlike me, who has no social life to speak of.

Right now, our plans for May are kind of up in the air. It's all going to depend on how I'm feeling, and what the ENT says on the 9th. If there's a suggestion on how to mitigate the vertigo, maybe we can still do Lancaster. If not, we're thinking about taking the train up to Philly or down to DC but we'll see how things go.

I've always had a bit of a phobia of being stuck somewhere, and the vertigo is really triggering it. I feel like I'm stuck in my house, unable to drive away. Nothing I can do but sit with it, I suppose.

Okay, time for more coffee and to get dressed, such as it is. Have the best Monday you can!

ftr, I think you would probably be fine to do Witchlight recaps! I was mostly worried about potential spoilers in the rambling twitter recaps I do because a) we started our game a few months after the module dropped, but it's been out over 6 months at this point and b) threads tend to break containment on twitter and end up in unexpected feeds much more easily than on dreamwidth. <3
