It's Wednesday! Which means that I'm more than halfway through my work week! It's a D&D week too! Only 3 days! And then Monster of the Week! It's something to look forward to.
The project at work continues, as does my involvement, as people do not do their jobs. I ended up correcting one tab for a coworker who either didn't understand the assignment or was lazy. Could have been either, really. My manager was working on another tab, but had another assignment dropped on her, so I offered to help with her tab. My markets didn't bother to come in, so it gave me something to do. There's still two tabs that people haven't done, so there's a chance I'll be asked to do those as well today. My manager's manager seems hot to get it done, as I see her in the shared file regularly, checking up on where we are on it.
It's a little frustrating that some of my coworkers suck so badly. The refund cases we're setting up take me about 3 minutes to do. At 41 cases, it should take just over 2 hours. Even if you're not as fast as me, no more than 3 hours. Our jobs are not that taxing. Three hours should be entirely doable. Oh well, can't police my coworkers. Just can do what I can do.
On the plus side, I've gotten to chat with my new manager a few times, and she seems to like me, so that's good.
Taxes came in, so tonight is Bonefish Grill. I've been craving their Bang Bang Shrimp, so that was my choice for a little splurge. The rest will go to bills and one nice trip to the weed store for Jess. They're going to try the tincture to see if it works as well as the prerolls, without being so hard on the lungs as smoking. I also bought what I hope will be comfortable shoes for work. If not, they get sent back and the search will continue.
This weekend, we're going to need to do some running around. Maybe a trip to Costco to get some food and stock up on non-prescription meds. Definitely a trip to Comcast to turn in the equipment. Gotta get that done, and I was kind of a slug last weekend. But since Monster of the Week is on Sunday instead of Saturday, we'll have all day to do what needs to be done. Plus bonus, it'll get us out of the house. It's supposed to be nice out, so maybe we can find somewhere to eat outside and get lunch. Our positivity rate is down quite a bit, but not enough that I'm willing to eat inside. For that, I want it below 3%.
The antibiotics seem to be helping the infected tooth, so that's a good thing. The swelling is going down finally. It took a couple of days to really kick in, but now it seems to be behaving.
Okay, time to go forth and get ready for work. Gotta put on pants and all. Maybe some more coffee shall be imbibed. Have a good Wednesday everyone!
