Have done camp forms until hand is falling off, have tidied the magazine selection, have looked at drug closet, muttered "oh fuck, not a chance" and shut door just as fast. Thus, all the busy work that I had to do this lovely rainy Friday is done. Am currently waiting for the trailer to Tomb Raider2 to load, so as to further numb my brain.

I realized that it's been a while since I did a proper update, so, I figured while I'm waiting for Angelina Jolie's enhanced bustline to load (this could take a while!) I'll give a quick run down.

With the help of my wonderful mate, got one financial worry off my back for good. Not the huge one, but one of the decent sized smaller ones, so that's a start. I'd like the Goddess to take note, I actually asked for her help on that one. See, I really am learning the lesson!

Got a rather dire yelling at by the Lady at last full moon, telling me to take better care of myself, or I was going to make myself really sick. I think I'm actually doing a bit better this time around, though. I just happened to get a cold in time for her to yell at me (got my period the next day, so that explained a lot--if I'm going to get sick, I do it then) She still kindly removed the cold, though. I swear, on the drive down to Sonya's, I was a sneezing, rasping mess. Three hours later, all gone. Gotta love results like that.

Grandmom is doing okay, though she's still very tentative about everything. I don't blame her for being scared, though it makes our life difficult. She's still very tired, which I think is from the anti-seizure medicine. I think she should talk to the doctor about coming off it, or trying something else. But she totally perked up for her 89th. birthday party on Sunday, esp when we gave her the beautiful porcelain doll we'd gotten her.

For years, we've looked for a pretty, nice Irish-themed doll to give her, but they never met our (admittedly high) standards. We spoil grandmom, and for her, only the best will do. This year, a trip to the Celtic store near us paid off. Jess found the doll, a 21" girl, with long red sausage curls and a beautiful embroidered green dress to match her eyes. She's dressed as a step-dancer, and she's wonderful. Even has black silky tights and patent leather shoes.

My beloved's birthday was this Wednesday. She turned the big 21. *grin* For lunch, I took her out for her first legal drink, and then Shelly and I took her to the local Irish pub for more booze after dinner. She got a little toasted, and was very cute. *grin*

Tonight, I have no idea what we're going to do, but it'll be something fun/relaxing.

Tomorrow night, it's cheesy movie night at the covenstead. We're in charge of the movie, so I'm currently running down my list of bad, bad movies that I've seen. There's just so many.

They should just be grateful that I've had a "no horror" request--I was going to make them sit through JasonX. *smirk* It's sad. I really liked that movie. My taste in films blows. Maybe the first Tomb Raider...That was pretty bad.
