beansideIt's 6:53am, and there is a cat yelling at me. He's been fed, but he wants me to go in and stir it, or add tuna water to it, or whatever it is that small cats want. I want to sit here quietly and sip my coffee, but that doesn't seem to matter. I swear, he has the same tone of voice that a baby crying does--it just goes right through your brain and makes it reverb in your skull.
My 1 on 1 yesterday went well. I'm doing well, I'm always available for extra tasks. My adherence (being in the right status at the right time) is really good. Basically, they can't find fault in anything I do. I've been trained in everything, so my job is just to maintain.
We also discussed changing around the way we do the inbox, since both people assigned were out yesterday, and I ended up doing it. We're talking about having a team to do it regularly instead of the whole team being assigned on different days. I think having a captain would be helpful, since the people who are currently assigned aren't always doing it.
The rest of the day was fine. Didn't have a ton to do, despite being on the inbox. It was pretty quiet.
Still no word on the potential bonus. Last word was that were were on target to get one, but no clue how much or when. The longer it is, the less chance we get it before vacation. Ah well. It'll be a nice boost towards Christmas presents.
Today, nothing exciting going on. Roll20 tells me that my next game is in 2 days, which makes me happy. We left the heroes preparing to fight one of the BBEGs of the module. I'm very much looking forward to it. Monster of the Week is 3 days so I'd better get off my ass and write out a mystery. The players have decided that they're going back to Faerie to free the enslaved humans in the Winter Court, so I have a plot line to go with. Just need to populate it with some monsters and mayhem.
Now, it is time to get myself together for work. Have a good Wednesday, everyone!

Date: 2021-09-09 11:25 am (UTC)I had to fill out the simulation for my PE yesterday. I am not good at it, but I went for it, and put everything I do. We'll see how that works out in a month or so when we actually do the meeting.
