beansideMonday has arrived in all it's...glory? I did not want to wake up this morning. I just wanted to stay snuggled in my warm bed and doze. Sadly, my alarm had other ideas.
Yesterday was a mostly boring day. Work was just a long slog. I'm back working in the project folder, where we have 200+ orders that are jammed in place. We can't reschedule, so they have to be cancelled. Some of these are $3k orders. It is hurting me deep inside to cancel them, but our system is a pain. We're not currently able to do replacement orders due to stock issues, so they're just getting refunded. There is no way we are getting a bonus this year.
After that, I cooked hamburgers and picked up gloves from Walgreens. Very exciting night. The hamburgers went over well, as Dad ate two, which is rare. He's at the age where only sugar is really appealing. It's like having a toddler--we're lucky if he eats a bite or two of whatever we fix. His first question every night is "Can Yoda have this?" It's enough to drive you insane.
Today, more work. More cancelling orders. Then, off to Walmart to pick up our grocery order. It's a pretty big order, so it's a good thing that the back of the RAV4 is temporarily clean. We're getting some fruits and veggies, which we haven't had in a while, aside from the occasional box of strawberries.
Now I'm back to questioning our hotel choice for Williamsburg. The one we have is a good distance from the park, and I'm wondering if we should do something closer. Downside, it would be more expensive. More research time!
