Somehow Sunday mornings feel earlier than most. I'm the only one up for hours. I like it, but that alarm going off at 6 is kind of annoying.

We had a productive Saturday, at least! We finally went to the dump, which is good since the SUV has been stuffed full of bags. (A lot of them were from the great SUV clean out, so it's only fair and proper. It was a little busy, but not as bad as I was afraid of. I thought we'd be stuck there for hours, but the line moved relatively quickly, and we were in and out in under an hour. Which is good, because I was starving by that point. We'd ordered breakfast on Grubhub, but they forgot mine, so I figured I'd stop at Habit Burger when we were finished with the dump.

I ended up getting the steak tenderloin sandwich with teriyaki sauce on it. SO tasty. Also, Jess got a chocolate malt that was amazing. We brought home fries and half the malt to my sister, since neither of us could finish it, and we ended buying dinner from them as well. I was not sad to get the same thing as I got for lunch. It's weird, though. The Rybelsus seems to make me full faster in the evening than in the morning. I have no idea why. Maybe because I had a vanilla malt, too. (I only drank about half, and Jess had the rest. It would just be too much sugar otherwise. The Rybelsus is making my pancreas work, but I'm not going to test to destruction.

I bought a GoPro Hero3 Silver on ebay last night. I've been watching all the park videos, and I decided that I wanted to reciprocate. I'm going to do a fat girls guide to Busch Gardens. How big you can be and fit on the coasters, what the food is like. Is the meal deal worth it? Those are the questions I'm not really seeing answered. Everyone who does a video seems to be a skinny person. There's one dude who does the occasional fat guy test, but he's considerably larger than me, and can't really fit on much. I'm hoping I'm able to fit on more rides.

Yesterday was D&D! After much discussion, the party decided to utilize the NPC wizard's fly spells to follow the dragon. Once they got close enough, the Paladin cast Darkness on the dragon's head, and it stumbled to the ground. The battle started in earnest! The dragon whipped around and used it's breath weapon on the Paladin and Bard, for substantial damage! Then a claw and a wing shot on the Fighter and one of the Rogues.

The party beat on the dragon, only doing half damage, since it was made of literal gemstones. Most of the party stayed out of range of the dragon's claws and wings, but were in range of the breath weapon. Fortunately, it could only use that every 2nd round. Due to the Darkness, spell, the dragon was rolling with disadvantage (roll twice and use the lowest number) but since it was rolling in the 20's every time, the party kept getting hit. In the process of healing the people who had gotten hit, the Cleric got tagged pretty hard and was down to single digits in hit points after another shot of breath weapon. After the second hit, the Paladin lost concentration on the Darkness spell, and it fell. Immediately, the dragon used it's Malevolent presence and two of the party fell under it's spell and were ordered to attack the NPCS. It took two rounds for them to throw off the spell, during which they reduced the Lich Bodyguard of the Wizard down to 1 hit point.

Finally, after some impressive hits from our other Rogue and the Fighter, the Bugbear Rogue got the final shot in, and the dragon went down.

After a long rest, they went to storm the castle, finding a way in that required climbing up a rope into the tower the dragon had flown out of. They found several Duergar, and made friends and influenced people in the way that they usually do--at swordpoint. We ended it there, and will continue clearing the castle next game!

Okay, time to get ready for work and have some more coffee. I may have made it a little bit overly strong this morning.
