Yesterday was a busy day! I worked for two hours, but then Jess was going to be taking the dog to his grooming alone, and I decided that would be too difficult, so I called out and went with. It was blisteringly hot, and my sister's car does not have the best AC, so it was deeply unpleasant. (We took hers, because my back seat desperately needs to be cleaned out before we can get to the seat belt to clip his little furry ass in.

Since I had time, I called the gas company finally, and spent an hour on the phone with them. They weren't able to schedule a date, so I have to call back today. I don't have another hour, so hopefully they've figured their shit out.

Then, I did some chopping for the jambalaya Jess made for dinner, which turned out amazing.

Then, it was back to fetch the puppy, who was a little less thrilled about being in the back seat, and spent most of the ride throwing a little pissbaby tantrum.

Lastly was a trip up to Safeway to get Dad's prescription.

After all that, you'd think I'd sleep well, but no, I was awake practically every hour of the night. Today I am tired and my back is sore. Coffee and ibuprofen are in order.

On the plus side, we made plans this weekend to meet up with [personal profile] coyotegestalt to make a trip to the College Park IKEA. They need a new desk, and we have an SUV, so it'll be a productive visit.

Today, work. I'll see what got done in my absence and catch up. Or more likely wait for my markets to come in for today, so I'm not doing double work. They're sure to suck with missing a day, but I'll manage.

Okay, ya'll. Have a good Tuesday!
