beansideUgh, so early. Morning snuck up on me, and I did not want it. Another hour would have been nice. I always feel like I could sleep in on the days I have to work, but I'll be wide awake on my days off. Though Saturday, I may be able to sleep in, since Friday is D&D night and I usually crash after that.
Work was busy yesterday. My markets came in early, so I was able to get all of that done, and then it was on to our project folder, which is overgrown. We really need some overtime to get it down, but that's unlikely to happen. I'll probably work in there again today, but with 1400 orders on there, it feels like I'm spinning my wheels.
Two more days to D&D and three to MotW! I need my sweet, sweet TTRPG fix.
After that, only two more weeks til I get my second vaccination! Hopefully, April goes quickly, because I'm very eager to get it done. I'm on the 19th, and Jess' second shot is on the 26th, which means by May 10th, we'll have our full immune response. I'll be relieved when we get to that point. Then, maybe I won't feel quite so nervous about going to the Amish Market every week. It's usually crowded as hell in there, especially at the meat counter, where social distancing appears to be a myth. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day I go, it's still busy as hell.
This week, we may end up going to Aldi, even if their meat doesn't taste as good to me, because money is going to be snug. We'll have to see. Next week, Yoda has his day of beauty, so that's $100 right off the top. He's a pricey little shit, but it's better than trying to do it ourselves. His fur is just too dense for non-professional shears, I swear. Also, he's a little asshole to everyone but his groomer. He may well be an asshole for her, too, but she never says so, and we tip well (nearly 50%) to compensate for any bad behavior.
