God, I need a nap. I slept fine last night, but the previous night's lack of sleep has caught up with me, and I'm just tired. If it doesn't improve with application of coffee, I do see a nap in my future.

My schedule is a little discombobulated this morning. I took my sister to work, so Jess can have the car to go get a new debit card (finally!) I'm tempted to run my car over to NTB to get tires today, but that'll depend on how tired I am later. It would make more sense to do it today, so we could maybe pick up the car tomorrow while we're out doing errands. We'll have to see if I get my shit together to adult today.

We finally finished Gods of Egypt, and that is 2 hours and 8 minutes of my life I won't get back. It was bad, y'all. Gerard Butler had a lovely time chomping scenery, which almost made it interesting, but Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was a total charisma suck. I didn't buy his redemption at all, and the human characters were a total blip on the landscape. The females existed to be fridged and then as a prize at the end of the movie. The one Black god (played by the always awesome Chadwick Boseman) was killed (though brought back in the end). It was just a shitshow of a movie, and TBH, I'm not sure how it got made.

After that, we started VelociPastor, which so far has just been horrible. I-don't-know-if-I-can-make-it-through-58-minutes horrible. Some of it has been funny bad. The first five minutes were awesome, but since then, we've had casual racism and slut shaming. Oh, also the lead has had to wear a mini dress. Which they didn't make a big deal of (yet), but the day is young.

Today is D&D day! Excite! Now to wait the interminable hours until then. I love D&D weekend!

good luck adulting! (and fitting in a nap)

that movie sounds like a real mess - I'm not sure I'd stick with it, but if you can, congrats to you

I hope your day improves, and that we can manage to not be too stressful tonight!
