beansideSo, Amish meat test...better than it could be. It still tasted "off," but not rancid. With some au jus on it, it was pretty tolerable. (And that brisket was a thing of beauty) So, we'll probably be spending more money on meat from now on, because I could eat it. I think even Dad liked it to some degree. He ate all that I gave him (with some fed to the dog, because of course). Dad is picky as fuck, and regularly is an pain in the ass about what we have to eat. As a result, we have backup food for him--tv dinners and chicken sliders. Tonight, we have baby back ribs with barbecue sauce. The ribs look fucking amazing, and I'm looking forward to eating them. (As long as something has a strong tasting sauce, it usually is edible. Since these are also Amish Market ribs, I'm expecting better than just tolerable.
The snow has already mostly melted from yesterday. It warmed up towards the tail end of the day, and took care of the white shit. Which makes it the best of all snows. Pretty for a little while, then gone before anyone needed to go to work on Monday.
Work was slow and grinding. I ended up with a project to work, and the asshole who told me I wasn't doing it right was back again. This time my coworker got the project thankfully. He told me that he was just sending back the exact same thing I'd said, so maybe the jerk will take it from a male coworker, and stop sending shit back. It's a waste of time for us. Then, apparently, one of the market managers told us that we didn't know how to properly schedule a delivery. Turned out, one of the delivery companies is not getting the updates, so of course that was our fault. Argh. People are dumb.
Otherwise, not much new to report. I suppose boring is better than exciting for the most part. My new schedule doesn't start until 3/7, sadly. So long! But I know our Staff Planning needs a few weeks to get things sorted with breaks and what not.
