Christmas was very nice. Got some nice Old Navy clothes and a microwavable heating pad, all of which I needed. Then, for lunch, we ordered from our favorite Indian place. Okay, technically, we over-ordered from the Indian place. They give you huge portions and I ordered four entrees for three of us. But everything sounded amazing. We had Aloo Gobi (curried cauliflower-not as good as Jess', but still pretty good), Himalayan Junelly (which is like a buttery Paneer Tikka Masala), Tandoori Chicken, and last we tried something new, Masala Dosa (which is a crepe, wrapped around spiced potatoes). It was all so fucking good, and there was more than enough. The only thing that is completely gone is the Masala Dosa. We kind of tore into those crepes. There were four big pieces, so everyone had one and Jess and I split the last one.
The internet steered me right on cooking the prime rib in the crock pot, and we had lovely medium rare meat. We managed to eat about half of the roast, which is pretty impressive, because it's huge.
The cat only bothered me twice, so that was a win. I slept like a log until about seven, when I was suddenly awake.
Today, the only thing I have planned is the tutorial for the D&D game at 4. I don't know who's going to show up for that. We shall see. It shouldn't take that long, I don't think, unless more of the newbies than I expect show up. Depending on the experience level of the newbies, I may run a little pre-adventure, just to get them some experience on how to play D&D. It wouldn't garner them any experience points, just let them role play a little. We'll see how it goes.
