Woke up early this morning after sleeping so-so. It's a little annoying, because with Shelly off this week, I can technically roll out of bed at 9:30am and be ready for work at 10am. Not that that would ever happen. Even on my latest sleeping days, it's 8am and I can't stay in bed any more.

Of course, I got up and google was down. I wasn't sure what to do if I couldn't check gmail first thing. How would I live without my morning influx of sales emails! Fortunately, it came mostly up before too long and I was spared any further discombobulation.

I think I'm all done for Christmas now. Just need to order dinner from Boston Market. We get the Prime Rib dinner and it works out very well. We have prime rib for a few days, and it's all good. And very tasty. Mustn't forget very tasty.

So, the Covid vaccine is shipping, but the general populace probably won't see it til June. I probably won't be taking it, as I've had anaphylaxis from medication before and they're warning on that. I'm sad about this, as I will have to rely on what antibodies I have from the illness and herd immunity, and I don't trust people to take the damn vaccine.

My work gave us our Holiday present this week. It's a pair of noise cancelling wireless headphones (nice) and a day off (nicer). I like the second half of this present a lot. It's nice to have a designated mental health day from work. Of course, my team was bitching about it. They say everyone has a bunch of PTO working from home, so why give us more? I personally don't have a lot of PTO. I've been using it for half a day off here, or a day there, so this is nice for me. My team are just whiny and would've complained about anything.

I continue to learn the steps for doing the delivery updates. It's a bigger pain in the ass than I ever knew. I'm slowly learning what I need to do. I need the macro spreadsheet to be shared with me, so I can try it on my own. Training takes place the first two hours of every morning. By the time I'm ready to do it on my own, I'll have close to twenty hours of training. I think I'll need every bit of it. Then come Christmas Eve, the training wheels come off, and I'm on my own. That's terrifying right now.

Who complains about more PTO? Your team mates sound...really high maintenance.
