Good things: we paid the taxes on the house for the year! (It’s been a rough year financially, after we needed major plumbing work in the fall. I have $6 until Wednesday, when Dad gets his check.). I have an amazing and gorgeous wife who has taken on being a full time care attendant, cook, dog walker and all-around homemaker. Jess keeps him from doing shit he shouldn’t (that kind of goes for Dad and the dog both) and keeps us all fed.
Less than good things. We have another plumbing leak in the basement, which is where we live. Things are watery and gross, and I am thoroughly ashamed, and terrified that I smell like mildew and everyone knows.
Over the last six months, my psych meds have started to fail. They’ve bottomed out, and I’m tapering down. Unfortunately, I’m having withdrawal symptoms on top of my already depressed and hypomanic self. I have been a joy to be around, y’all.
So far, I’ve managed not to self harm, and I’m not suicidal. That’s about what I’ve got. That and gratitude for Abilify, because it’s the reason I can still work.
Next med might be Latuda, so if anyone has any experience with it, let me know.
