So, after four months of joblessness, I'm screwed. I have no money, too many bills, and no small amount of desperation.
I was curious if anyone was interested in buying some clothes I won't ever wear, in the hopes of digging myself out of the hole.
I'm going to be uploading pictures soon, but in the meantime, for sale, one Size 4x ivory Renaissance style dress from Torrid circa 2001. Never worn, tags still attached. It's a beautiful stretch velvet and silky material that glows in the light. Paid $89. Make me an offer.
Also, one sleeveless gothic black stretch velvet ball gown with red silky piece in the front, overlaid with black spiderweb lace that has bats woven into it, also Torrid. Never worn, tag still on. Paid $90, make offer.
One pair of size 26 black leather jeans, worn once. Paid $120, Lane Bryant, lined.
I'm going to try to dig through my closet and see what else I can find to list, because as I said, I'm kind of up a creek, and with the new kitty's illness, our finances are a wreck. I'm trying very hard not to drag Jess down with me. More things to come as I figure it out.

Date: 2009-08-12 06:34 am (UTC)Please forgive my ignorance, I haven't been keeping track well the last few months, and you may have answered this: aren't you qualified for unemployment since your job went away or has that run up? And as much as it's really hard (not the process, but the doing), you may find that you are temporarily eligible for things like food-stamps. The asking for assistance not so fun however it's a godsend to be able to help out even that much.
I really wish I could help in someway.
