beanside | Yay!

After four days and three tech support people, I'm finally back on line, though sporadically. Apparently, there are problems with the dial up number, but also, my computer's networking had corrupted. Oh happy day. The very nice woman at my ISP kindly helped me to fix that problem. Now, if only the connection weren't insisting on being such a bitch. (sorry about that, Cari!)

But it let moe on briefly, which was nice.

It gives me hope that it'll let me back on some day.

So, what have I done in the last week that needs updating?

Went to the Alice Cooper concert on Tuesday, which was deeply cool. It took me two days to fully regain my hearing, but was worth it. And, on the bonus side, I've nearly managed to muse Nix. *dances* Hey, I owe her. Still drooling over the sword chick. So fluid and graceful...just...hot. My two biggest kinks, leather and steel.

Then, on Friday night, we went to Halloween at Hershey. It's always fun, riding the rides and running around like idiots. Of course, between the rides, the walking and the cold air, my cough was acting up full force.

Saturday, I discovered that doing too much on Friday had it's price, namely that my lower back is fucked. I'm pretty sure it was mostly the cough that did it. We didn't do a whole lot. Watched an old Alice concert video, and Death to Smoochy. I do adore Edward Norton.

Sunday, I was all domestic, baking honey wheat bread. It turned out pretty well, though I think I'll let it rise more on the second rising next time. It was rather dense.

And now, here I am at work, trying to convince my muses to behave themselves. Lance is bitching about sleeping with the village idiot. Go figure.
