I really feel like this Samhain lives up to the billing as the Celtic New Year, I must say. I can finally move forward.
The year pretty much blew, but dammit, this year will be better. Even if I have to kick someone to make it happen.
On the plus side, Millie had her teeth done on Wednesday, and was back to scarfing her food last night, so that's a bonus. I figure that by tonight, she'll be back to climbing your leg for turkey. *nod* Which will make me happy.
I'm not doing Nano or Mini-nano this year. I NEVER do Nano. I just don't have that kind of commitment, even for 100 words a day. Hell, most days I'm lucky if I'm upright. I am trying to write more, though. I'm getting that tug again to write something in the horror realm. Possibly horror/romance. Dunno. There are so many awesome legends that I'd like to play with. Not to mention the classic monsters with a twist.
We shall see.

Date: 2008-10-31 03:12 pm (UTC)I finally broke down and signed up for mini-nano this year. I figure even if I don't write every day (which is a definite possibility), maybe it'll jump start me. I have a ton of new fic ideas, I just haven't managed to gather the motivation to actually write anything more than notes. :)
