It does my fangirl heart good to see the pics from the BSG concert, of the music from the series. One, Bear McCreary is totally on the "list" of guys I'd sleep with. Two, it makes me happy to see the boys from Oingo Boingo in any capacity. *nod*

Bear is one of the sweetest guys in the world.

At the last Boingo tribute concert he was all happy and talkative, and he was posing for every picture that was asked. I kinda felt bad, cause I think he had to go to the bathroom, cause he was slowly moving towards is, and he kept getting stopped. Good times.

Callis is a lot hotter in person. Gaius does nothing for me, but James is a truly wonderful human being who does amazing things like REMEMBER people he met... and this was several days later! Most people at cons and stuff, immediately forget whoever said hello (which is understandable), but not only did Callis remember me, he made a point to say hello and goodbye several days later. Awesome.

And I'm in love with Bear's music. Pascallia is one of my favorite songs EVER. Someday I want to choreograph a dance to it, if I can think of something awesome enough to do the song justice.

I haven't managed to get sucked into BSG, but I discovered Bear's stuff through Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

I may have spent some considerable time watching YT clips so I could transcribe Sarah's theme for piano. And then spent even more time fiddling about doing variations on it. *headdesk* He's such a wonderful composer.

Bear was in the Scoring for Motion Pictures and TV program at USC when I first started working there and he was a classmate of one of my best friends, whose also a composer. My bf is constantly telling me, man, I coulda done that better. It's kind of funny.
