Four years ago today, the most beautiful woman in the world stood in front of the coven and the Gods and promised her life to me.

It's been a hell of a journey, with a lot of ups and downs along the way, but I'm even more in love with her now than I was back then.

So, Happy Anniversary, mi alma. You're still the best chance I ever took. *kiss*

Being absolutely nosey here, do you renew your handfasting every year and a day or did you go the more traditional 'for this and every other future lifetime' right from the start. One of my bestfriends did the later handfasting; to keep the 'rents happy they also did the JP thing -- guess which one she feels is the real ceremony?

We went straight for the hardcore one, actually. The plan is that in a few years, hopefully, when Maryland legalizes same sex marriage/comittment/domestic partnership, we'll do a big wedding, with all our friends and family there. The first one was a coven-only event, since Jess' parents hadn't warmed up to me/her being tied down/her being a lesbian, and it would have really been difficult to have my family there, and not hers.

Now, her parents ask when I'm coming down to TX to see them. *grin* Last time they visited, her mother informed us that the Baltimore museum of art would be perfect for our wedding. *headdesk*
