mona1347 and brynwulf, here's my letter to my 15 year old self.
Dear Younger Self,
You need therapy and medication, stat. The words "major depression" are almost too mild for what you've got right now. You're putting yourself and your family through hell, and you're acting like a harpy bitch. Fix it. now.
In that vein, stop being such a stupid whore about school. I know you're smart. I know you're bored. I know that 90% of your classmates suck ass. But trust me, the GED thing? It's a pain. We didn't go to college, and we're poor. On the other hand, we love our job, so y'know, it's not all bad.
That wrestling thing? Yeah, keep up with that. And the writing thing, too. You kind of suck right now, being 15 and a virgin, but you'll get better, and when the time comes, that writing will get you the best thing in your life.
Oh, yeah. You're a big dyke. Stop trying to perv on the boys. You never wanted to be Baby Doll. You wanted her. Deal. Eh, don't worry about it much. In a few years, Star Trek: First Contact and Terminator 2 will come out, and the Borg Queen and Sarah Connor will clear that up.
You'll always love music, but trust me, your future does not lie in being a keyboardest for Duran Duran. You pretty much suck at it. Decent voice, though. Keep working on that.
No matter how much they annoy you, your family is going to be the cornerstone of the next 13 years. It's going to suck sometimes, trust me. But it'll work out.
When the time comes, be willing to take a chance on new things. Love with all your heart, and know that no matter how many times you get hurt, it'll all come out for the best.
But seriously, the meds and therapy? Go. Now.
