Well, that was a much more interesting and long day than expected. We were bugfuck insane. When I got in, I looked at the calendar and realized that one of my other PAS III’s was out. So I was going to be staying til 5. Okay, no big. I vaguely remembered agreeing to that.
So I did his job, figuring I’d do mine in the afternoon. Then, around 10:30am, my manager says “I know you’re doing teams subbing for J and thank you. I just want to make sure that you knew Reyna was leaving at 3-that it was explained to you and you didn’t agree under duress to work til 6.”
Well, I didn’t remember that, but it wasn’t any big deal. I had nothing else planned, aside from cooking dinner, and I can easily order out, so I said that I hadn’t known that, but I would be happy to work it, no duress needed. I think he's worried about me burning out while I'm not feeling great/waiting on the uterus.
Today I'm a little overly tired, but coffee will help that.
My throat has been super peeved the last couple of days. My voice has been shit, dropping in and out and very quiet and hoarse. Sometimes, it feels like I really have to work to make noise. IT's deeply annoying. I'm having to repeat myself a lot.
Two more days til Gyn Onc appt. I'm getting nervous. If they suck, I'm not sure hwat I',l do. Hopefully they're good and nice and can give me options.
I'm currently trying to type with a small cat helping me. If there are any typos, it's Lizzy's fault. It's somewhat difficult to type when the screen is being aggressively newfed.
Okay, on that note, time to get myself together. Everyone have an outstanding day!
