We've made it to hump day! As usual, yesterday we were very busy.
I had my Quality meeting, which was about as usual. Could do better, so close to hitting all the standards, but stop trying to rush ahead, and hit all the phrases they want me to use. Also, I got dinged for not reading the entire name of the insurance, even though after the first part, it usually devolves into a lot of letters that make gibberish. "Yes, Mr. Smith, I see you have Cigna CCP/OAP/PPS/EIEIO." It's just not something that rolls off the tongue. You sound like a fucking idiot if you say all of that. But I will try. And use the name three times. My soul rebels against that one, because I hate it when a call center person does it to me. It implies a familiarity that they haven't earned. Especially if you use my first name.
Afterwards, I decided to take a half a day off, and left early. I had a sample pack to pick up from McCormick to review for a $15 gift card. I got the sesame ginger, which was very tasty. We had it on some green beans, and it had a really nice flavor. I have to use it one more time before next Friday, which will not be a problem.
Then, I'll upload pictures and review it. While I was between jobs, I would do in person taste tests, which was fun and occasionally paid really well.
Today, not much planned beyond the Sam's club order coming and Yoda's Farmer's Dog shipment. We decided to give it a try when they had a free sample, and it turns out my bougie little shit LOVES it. So, we'll be trying to budget that in, because he was on Honest Kitchen before, and 60% of the time he wouldn't eat it, even when we put turkey on it. he'd eat the turkey and then look at us before he started scavenging for floor candy. Like we we had driven him to it. So this is much better. He eats all of it, and he seems happy and content afterwards.
Gearing up for games tonight and Friday, and then the Christmast Village on Saturday. (Assuming Jess is up to it.)
Okay, time for me to get myself together! Have an excellent Wednesday!
