Back to Monday again! I'm a little sore this morning, got a bit of a headache, but I'm sure some ibuprofen will take care of that.
It's kind of funny, considering that I've only been on Vyvanse for 3 days, but I really dislike being off it. Yesterday, I was grumpy and scattered, and I did not enjoy it. I mean, I also forgot to take my other morning meds yesterday, so that probably didn't help.
Didn't do a whole lot yesterday, as expected. I just kind of sat on the couch like a giant lump, got dad up, put dad back to bed, the usual. Despite that, the time kind of snuck up on me, and before I knew it, Jess was saying "Okay, going down to get set up for game." Dear reader, it was 15 minutes before game, and I had not yet fed Dad dinner.
Game was a lot of fun, with some tough monsters to fight. It was 100% not a one shot, so we're going to have a second session in about a month to hopefully finish it up. It wasn't a creator I'd used before, but it seems to be pretty good.
Today, I have to fill out my self assessment for the year, since apparently Hopkins goes on a July-June schedule for their assessments. I fucking hate self assessments. I'm not particularly good at tooting my own horn, and I don't know that they're really worthwhile. Bonus, they don't want to take time away from your work day, so they pay for you to do it before or after work. So that's another hour of overtime that I'll have on the next paycheck.
My manager sent me a snip of my stats for the last three months, and for June, I am yet again in the green. I met all my goals for the month, and will get an hour lunch one day. I'm really pleased that I'm able to meet all my marks, and I will admit, a little smug. Every little green square is another fuck you to Harford County 911.
So, I'll do my evaluation and try to tell them that I'm awesome. I know I'm not going to get a raise this assessment, but that's okay. From what I understand, Hopkins raises are not overwhelming anyway. They're pretty much in line with IKEA, so between a 1-3% yearly increase. They're paying me pretty well already, so I'm not too fussed about it.
Okay, time for me to hop off and get myself together for work. Everyone have a perfectly lovely Monday!
