I actually slept almost til my alarm at 7 today! The cat jumped up around 4, but after a few pets, she fucked off, and let me have a few more hours. Now I shall relax until my 10am interview, which shall be for Dialysis Coordinator. I don't know that I'm going to get it, because they really wanted someone with a Bachelor's degree, but I'll try. Then, another stretch of doing nothing, until my 4pm for Hopkins.
I don't have anything on Tues or Fri, so I'm hoping maybe I can score a couple more interviews this week, but we'll see.
I'm not too worried about the phone interview. I can turn a phone interview into an in-person interview 90% of the time, so I'm fairly hopeful about those. It's when we get to the face to face that I get anxious.
We had a lovely, if busy Sunday. First up, Jess went up to visit dad. He was perkier and asked for his smart watch to be charged, which I will do today, and we'll take it to him tomorrow. Then, at 12:30, we had our Mad Mage game, which was a lot of fun. The party picked some fights that maybe they shouldn't have, but they still won, so yay? But I totally felt like that one tiktok video. "You see how maybe you weren't supposed to do that? But you did!" I did not realize how good insect plague was as a spell, but that thing is nasty. I will definitely be using that again. Then, after just long enough of a break to stuff chicken tacos in our faces, we were off to a second game, this one run by
poisontaster. That was a lot of fun, as we began a murder mystery minigame in the campaign. We've already discovered that the Duchess was murdered, so we shall see where we go from there. I'm sure no one will object to our investigation! Our schedule was nothing compared to PT, who had three games, plus a writing workshop type of thing. Basically, when one thing finished, she had something else within half an hour of it! I would have been face down by the end of the night! Most of the time, I'm at a two game limit for a day, and a four game limit per weekend (including Friday night). My tolerance has built up over time, so it's possible I could do more, but usually, I like to keep it right about there.
Tomorrow, I have absolutely nothing scheduled. Jess is going to go visit dad, because I have an appointment on Wednesday that's literally in view of the castle, so I'll go then.
I agreed to do a taste test with McCormick's spices for a $40 amazon gift card. It's about spicy things, so that could be a bit much, but I'll manage. I like spicy more than I did before covid, so it should be fine. Either that, or I'll be mainlining the milk afterwards. Mind you, if an interview should want to schedule, I'll be cancelling or rescheduling this.
Okay, time for me to go forth and have more coffee to prepare. Everyone have an amazing Monday!
