Sometimes I forget how much I like an artist, even ones on my playlist, and then a song comes up that you don't listen to often, and you're reminded anew that you are indeed a stereotypical Indigo Girls-loving queer girl. The above subject line is courtesy of the song Galileo.
Yesterday, I did nothing of any note. Had an interview that despite being labeled as customer service was both a sales and a marketing job. So I sent them a nice email declining a second interview, because well, fuck no. I wish to do neither marketing, nor sales. The rest of my day was mostly putting in applications. I got a ping from a plastic surgery group, so I have a zoom interview with them today, and a phone screening with University of MD Medical system on Friday for one of the many jobs I applied for there. I have no idea which one, since I've put in a lot.
Tomorrow, I'm not scheduling anything, since Dad is supposed to have his care meeting then, and I want to make sure I can be present. Hopefully they'll call with a time this morning, so I know when I need to be up there. They were waiting to schedule it yesterday when everyone was back from the holidays.
I hate being unemployed. It's really not good for my border collie nature. Hopefully, I'll find something soon that will get me out of the house (or get me working from home) soon.
For now, I need more coffee. Everyone have a terrific Wednesday!
