It's Friday! We've almost made it to the weekend!
I am having a hard tiem adapting to the new scheduled physically. I'm constantly a little bit achy and exhausted. I'm sure that'll come too, But att he moments, it's a lot.
We're learning stuff for this test on Monday, and I have to get 80% to continue training, and I'm freaking out. It's just a lot. And the instructors are like "no one has ever failed this test!" and I'm like "oh shit, there's always a first time."
It's just a lot of information, and I am feeling shaky about how well I have it. Going to spend this weekend studying. Saturday, I'll reread the book, and Sunday I'll have Jess quiz me.
The stress is coming out sideways. Last night the dog ate the corned beef off my sandwich and I sobbed because it was my fault for leaving it out where he could get it, and corned beef is bad for dogs. (He's fine.)
I know other parts of this will be difficult, but there's something about this test that's freaking me out. Once I get through Monday, I'll be ready to go.
Three days next week, we have observation. Monday is class as usual. Tuesday I'm on the 7-3 schedule observing. Wednesday is class, then Thursday I'm on the evening shift 3-11 and then lastly, on Friday, I'm back on the morning shift. I'm excited about getting to see what it's all about.
I'm going to leave early again today because I need to get gas, and I want to get their early enough to read the next chapters of the book. Time goes really fast in the morning.
This evening, after work, I'm going to stop and pick up a stained glass peice a friend made. She put it on facebook that she was at a craft fair, and I saw this little purple anglerfish and was like "must have." She hadn't sold it, so it became mine!
Okay, gonna go get pants on. Everyone have an excellent Friday!
