Today's song is from the annoyingly catchy High School the Musical 2.
.
As always, I blame Jess, as they're the one that put it on our "Infinite Playlist, which we drove to Disney listening to.
My paycheck finally came in! Whoo! It was later than usual, which flipped me out a bit, because I have things I need to use it for today. Fortunately when I woke up at 4:30am (Why? Not a single fucking clue.) It had been deposited. So, now I can keep all my appointments for tne next couple of days.
Yesterday was dull, yet entertaining. Several of my former coworkers had the IKEA tertial town hall meeting, which is basically a self congratulatory circle jerk as all the departments tell us how awesome they are. So they were texting me with updates, which were hilarious. So many people chose violence yesterday.
Apparently, one of my coworkers has shared my farewell note with a few people, and they seem to have shared it with more people and now half the damn call center has seen it. Apparently the trainers were talking about it during my friend K's class, to the tune of "She's so right." I was joking that I'm becoming the call center's Phantom. I'll just sit in the shadows and sing to people about coming over to the dark side.
I don't think I'm going to start a revolution or anything, but it wouldn't surprise me if they lose a lot more people, especially since the head of the call center apparently gave a "You're going to talk to customers and you're going to like it" speech.
We had Brindlewood Bay last night which was lovely. Unfortunately, twoards the end I was flagging and felt like my brain was scrambled eggs, so I was not horribly helpful during the theorizing portion of the evening, but it was an aweseome time.
Yesterday as well, I was very anxious about the new job. It suddenly seemed like a lot, and my brain was telling me that I was an idiot to leave a stable job, and I wasn't going to be able to keep up in school, and who did I think I was, changing careers at 50? Fortunately, I have awesome friends and an amazing spouse who told me that it was just the jerkbrain talking.
Today, I shall go forth and get my car's tags, and then tonight we shall run down Arundel Mills and get my Torrid order. They only had one pair of pants available, but if I get those, I can get through the week if I wear them twice.
And then tomorrow we shall go hot pot!
Okay, it's time for me to get myself together for the day. Gotta take a shower so I'm not stinky for the nice people at the Motor Vehicle Admin. Everyone have a most excellent Thursday!
