And it's morning. I did not sleep worth shit, and I am tired. We had a rough day with dad yesterday, and I'm not sure the antibiotics they have him on are working. Last night, he was running a temperature of 99.8, and he was very uncomfortable, just squirming and grunting and generally loud.
I feel bad for him that he's uncomfortable, but my god, I was ready to scream. It was making work very difficult. His heart rate was back up to 120, but with how much he was squirming, I just don't know. We're stuck in the loop of "what is too much?" The last time we called the ambulance, we had his nurse here to advocate with the ambulance crew. But the time before, he was really sick and when we called, they were so dismissive and assholish to us that it's totally made us gunshy about calling. His primary care is visiting this afternoon, so we'll see what he has to say. I don't want to compromise his health, but I also don't want to be condescended to.

He just woke up, and he's already grunting and oooh boy-ing, so I think it's going to be a long fucking day. Time to take some anti anxiety meds! I wish I could give him some.

Tomorrow night, we have our Blades in the Dark game, which I am dearly looking forward to. Just to have a few hours of respite sounds lovely. I need to work on the plot at some point, so maybe I'll do that after I finish this entry. I've got the basics laid out, but I need to figure out what's going to happen. Hopefully, it ends up being a lot of fun. BitD is the game system I struggle with most, so it's always a challenge.

Then, Thursday, it's off to the office, whoo. I always feel shitty for leaving Jess alone with Dad, even if it's not my idea.

Okay, time for me to go forth and take some pills and get ready for work. Everyone have a wonderful Tuesday.
