poisontaster is running a game, The Mystery of Yokai Vale. It's going to be a busy weekend for all involved.
I was a little freaked out last night, because it seemed like dad was peeing every 20 minuntes, and his temp was 99.2, but he seems better this morning. I did freak out and give him Amoxicillin, so that may have helped. I really feel like he has a chronic urinary tract infection, and may need to be on antibiotics long term.
Work at the office was busy. My manager, S. presented his boss,R. with our proposal for the big meeting with her boss, making sure to credit me, and she loved it. So, our meeting is a go. I need to have the powerpoint locked in by Wednesday, so I can send it to R. S is determined that we all have at least half an hour's worth shit to say about our jobs, and that I can overview and bullshit for long enough to make up any spare time. I'm a little bit stressed, since now this is all my idea, if it goes sideways, it's my duty to keep it going. I've got two more people who need to approve/edit their stuff who were out yesterday.
S is really trying to let me do things for this so I can mention it at my next interview, so I'm the one who made the group chat, and posted the schedule and explained what we're looking for (An overview, not a step by step process). I'm enough of a control freak that I like being the one in charge, but also enough of a worrier that I'm afraid people are going to get offended by me bossing them around. Too fucking bad for them.
We had our CONfab meeting, and I have a little better idea of what I'm going to be doing, so that's good. Basically, if it involves attendees, it's my job. I just posted a want add on twitter for the Social Media Coordinator, and will be doing tumblr, facebook and dreamwidth next.
