A glorious day off and I actually managed to sleep in until 8:30. It was lovely. The cat tried, but not too hard, and I was comfortable, so I just petted and dozed back off. My jackass of a body and brain will very rarely let that happen, so it was a nice change.
Yesterday started out shitty. After being glitchy for a while, the router suddenly refused to work. I spent a fruitless hour with the Tmobile tech wizards who couldn't get me anywhere. The router just suddenly refused to connect at all. We went round and round, and they finally decided to escalate the matter to the next tech level which would take 3-5 business days. I (kindly, nicely) put my foot down and got the okay to go to one of the stores and get a new router to see if that would help. The store was very kind and an hour later, I was home with a shiny new tower. It worked well, so score one for my tech support ability.
I was a little annoyed, since I missed the first panels of Confab due to tech issues, and got back home with 25 minutes to get everything set up before my first shift watching the discord. The discord behaved itself both of my shifts, and I finished up the night with Dad being chatty during the vid show which was deeply annoying and had me overstimulated as hell. (Doesn't take much, to be honest.)
Today, I shall present my D&D-Getting started panel at 11, then, I have to do a couple of shifts watching the discord, but all in all, it won't be too bad. I'll admit, if people are interested, I might do a panel on how to use Roll20 and some of the rules of D&D. We'll see if the spirit moves me. I made a game, just in case I want to use it.
First, though, I need to throw some country style ribs in, so we'll have dinner. I was bad last night and ordered Panda Express. Oh well. I will deal.
Okay, gotta get myself together for the con, sot his is a short one. Have a wonderful Sunday!
