Friday! And it's gas day! (for real this time, hopefully!). They're supposed to get here between 7:30 and 8am and take about 6 hours. I hope this goes well. The HVAC person was here for three hours yesterday, rehooking the appliances. The lines had been pressurized to prove that they'd installed them correctly to the county, so they had to unplug the ends and hook them up, so that BGE only has to change the meter and get the gas flowing. Then, some pilot light relighting later, we'll have heat and hot water again! I hope this goes well.
Yesterday was very stressful. As I pulled onto the first major street, my check engine light, VSC and 4Wheel drive lights popped on. Previously when it did this, my gas cap was loose, but I didn't have time to fuck around with it. So, I came home and ubered to work. So that was annoying. Poor Jess was stuck at home with a dog with a poopy butt, the HVAC guy and Dad kinda being a tool. All in all stressful as hell.
I continue to wait to hear anything about the job. I spent yesterday just waiting, hoping that the recruiter would contact me. If I don't hear anything by Monday, I think I'll email again. I don't want to be a pest, but we're also past a week after they told me I'd be hearing about it. It's very frustrating.
Aside from that, not a whole lot going on. I'm going to make this a short one, since the nice people will be coming in anywhere from 15-45 min. Fingers crossed! Everyone have a good Friday!
